The supernatural, is it real?

Please don't think that I'm weird but the strangest thing has happened to me tonight.

My brother has been staying with me along with my 3 children during this lockdown. We are in no way a woo family.

I was sat on my couch watching tv and I heard loads of cats outside my house making odd screaming noises, they were not fighting. I went outside to shut them up because I couldn't hear the tv. The 4 cats were all staring towards my sitting room window just growling.

I started feeling a bit strange, like when I was a kid running up the stairs away from the @monster". I actually felt frightened! Nothing was around. I ran back into my house and bolted the door fast.

I went back into my house and shouted my brother. He looked out if the window and the cats were just looking. His hairs on his arms and mine went up, I had a shiver down my spine. My dog refused to go outside too! My dog loves going outside and he's never refused before but he just growled.

Hand on heart it felt like someone was watching us and the tension in the room could be cut with a knife.

I sound like a complete idiot but I needed to tell someone and if I told my friends they would laugh at me. I'm sat in my room pretty scared lol 🙈

There might have been another cat, sitting on the outside window ledge
I say this, as I have three cats, and my next door neighbour has one cat. they all get on fine together, But three doors up, there is another cat, he is quite large, and mostly all white, and non of the other cats seem to like him at all. This big cat sometimes sits on my window ledge, and gets spat at , and stared at if they see they all see him there.

Also, some dogs can be very wary , and spooked by cats making a noise outside.

Sounds like the cats were growling at your dog and your dog was growling at the cats. We have shenanigans like this all the time - we have a cat and a dog and every house in our area does too. Some of them wander around into each other’s territories.

I would bet there was another animal involved. My cats get like this sometimes. Having said that, after the last few days I am starting to wonder if this house is haunted and even my non woo husband is a bit freaked out, so never say never.

Could have been a hedgehog. I watched my neighbour's cat and another strange cat investigating one in the garden. The two cats don't normally have anything to do with each other but they were both very interested in the hedgehog and forgot that they were enemies.

Lockdown is clearly getting to me. I was so frightened 😂
