I hate job hunting!

I’ve just been made redundant from a role I loved. Fortunately there’s a lot of roles to apply for. But I am being reminded of why I hate job hunting so much:

Roles with no salary / “competitive” salary. How do you know if it’s worth applying?
Trying to write compelling and attractive but above all else, relevant cover letters.
Job descriptions asking for the moon on a stick - maybe that’s just my industry though 🤷🏻‍♀️
The endless conversations with recruiters, saying the same thing over and over.
The “conversations” with potential employers, that go nowhere. Not quite an interview but must be done, but very time wasting.

Argh.

The lack of salary thing really bugs me. A few years ago I was looking for admin jobs, and they can be anything from minimum wage up to £30k depending on what they mean by admin. So annoying.

I'm now looking for a job again and have changed roles, although there is never a salary advertised for these roles I do at least know the industry standard and what to ask for.

I've also wasted lots of time with recruiters.
