How can I send my story to all newspapers in one go, is there a central hub if you like where journalists can search for features?

Run a children's activity and want to target the national press as it's a great national news item, rather than scrolling through each newspaper looking for contact us etc. Is there somewhere I can go to load my news item/story etc.

Thanks in advance Mumsnetters Smile

Don’t be a twat, MrsPeacock. Hmm

BoredPanda offers such a service, or if it’s just a standard press release then enewswire.

Btw if you want to try boredpanda I suggest trying to turn your activity into a fun article (similar to a BuzzFeed listickle) rather than just a press release. Like a top 10 best/most amusing whatever that’s come out of the activity.

Enough of them trawl through here.

Spill the beans and you'll see if they're interested soon enough.

Well, until it gets deleted for advertising, anyhow.

You're better emailing individual newsdesks.

Tootletum · 22/06/2020 17:15

You realise that placing info in newspapers is what PRs do? Not sure why you expect free publicity? Just write a blog with the info, make sure the SEO is right, paste the link wherever you can. Or pay.

Pick your local ones first, and then just send to the nationals. You'll find the nationals are less interested than you think. Uou can also try things like the one show etc.

Anymore places where I can see what maybe journalists are looking for?

Ring your local papers first.

Ask to speak to the editor, pitch him/her your story.

Follow up via email, attaching photographs/captions if appropriate.
