Temporary crown fell off..

Was fitted mid March, due to have the permanent one put in on the 6th April but obviously that didn't happen.

Dentist is surprised it's lasted that long and told me to call back for an appointment when they open next week.

Any DIY fixes anyone can recommend to make sure my tiny little tooth stays safe?

I'm sorry to say nothing really works. I lost my crown, front tooth! and I tried all the tricks of the trade. A local friendly dentist gave me some Dentek, that didn't work either. Fixodent will keep it in but only for a very short time. Eventually found private dentist who re-cemented it for me.

My dentists are great and are hurrying along the lab making my permanent crown to make sure it's ready asap
