Hello. I really need some help with this. I would like to buy my niece a really nice lip or eye shadow pallet for her 18th birthday. It doesn’t have to be a palette though and I am open to suggestions. I just don’t know what brands are ‘in’ or not. Is Bobbi Brown or mac seen as cool? The budget is around £50 but I am happy to go a bit higher it get it right. Thanks for your help.

I think Mac is still 'in'. What about a James Charles palette? You can buy them at Morphe and they have other brands.

I think glossier is popular (or was recently!) it’s ‘natural’ look makeup so no good if she prefers heavier make up though

Can't go wrong with Urban Decay. There's a Naked Reloaded palette for £39.

Huda Beauty or Anastasia Beverly Hills (Soft Glam or Modern Renaissance) are also very popular for palettes at the moment.

Urban decay palettes are very 'in' I would try and check which/if she has any before buying though so it's not duplicated. I would also say Charlotte Tilbury but I know some people on here say the quality isn't great, Bobbi Brown and MAC good suggestions too though.

Morphe are really popular with my teenage daughters.

CT is too pricey, imo.

Cult Beauty have Morphe so you can have a look there. Very affordable and the James Charles palette has a lot of buzz with the youngsters (though he drives me up the wall).
