What is your trigger food?

As in, the one that you have NO self control when it comes to eating it.

Mine is crisps, specifically salt & vinegar but tbh most crisps will do it for me. I can't just have one packet if I have a multipack, or part of a big 'sharing my bag. I've learnt through bitter experience that if I buy them, I will eat them until they're all gone. I have no self control 😞

Nothing else has quite the same effect, in fact I could quite happily go weeks or even months without eating many other things (chocolate, biscuits, etc)

I actually just can't allow myself to buy them anymore except very occasionally as a treat as I know I can't be trusted.

What really does it for you?

Butter

RedWine123 · 22/06/2020 00:35

Crisps (any), Bourbon biscuits with a glass of cold milk, spaghetti, those Kallo corn cakes with butter and cheddar. Drool.

SpillTheTeaa · 22/06/2020 00:49

Crisps too. I could eat my way through a multipack if I let myself! I would never though! DS is will eat any crisp given to him. He's like his mummy 😂🤫

Biscoff spread
Double cream
Homemade bread, still warm with lots of Lurpak

SickOfNorthernExile · 22/06/2020 01:07

Crusty White bread and butter
Sticky white rice
Chocolate
Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream
Brie
Cake
Chocolate raisins
Crisps

Basically high processed carb, high sugar, high fat... preferably all 3 at once.

Peanuts. There is no peanut product that I wouldn’t happily demolish in one sitting. I take a detour when shopping to avoid the aisle.

SisyphusAndTheRockOfUntidiness · 22/06/2020 01:30

Crisps - especially salt & vinegar, cheese & onion, sweet chilli, etc. Luckily (!?) I can't eat quite a few brands as they give me horrific migraines, but there's still a lot of temptation out there...

Also, cheese. Strangely, sliced cheese is the worst. I don't know why!

And yes, I absolutely agree with rice. With just a sprinkle of salt & pepper on it. Or seaweed flakes & liquid aminos.

Used to be chocolate, but... I think... I'm going off it. I know. What's wrong with me?

I could have written your post myself. I have absolutely no limits when it comes to crisps especially walkers any flavour will do, I definitely can’t buy the multi pack boxes😋.

Post pregnancy my go to food was crisp sandwiches, fresh white bread, butter and walkers crisps, yum! This may explain why I’m still trying to loose the baby weight when my children are teenagers😬.

Soft, creamy, sweet and fatty combined ie buttercream, choc mousse, choc truffles, stuff like that. I am dangerous around these and limit them for my own good!

amusedtodeath1 · 22/06/2020 03:39

At Christmas time Tesco do this Baked Brie with cranberry topping, that, with fresh baked baguette. Dipping chunks of bread in that gooey buttery brie. Seriously don't even try it. Good job they're not available all year around.

User8989 · 22/06/2020 04:00

White bread

PolaDeVeboise · 22/06/2020 08:38

Giant Wotsits. Pure gluttony and utter joy.

EllaAlright · 22/06/2020 08:40
