How to tip delivery person

In the days of contact free deliveries, how do I tip the delivery driver for my takeaway? Do they want to handle cash? How do I hand it over?
Normally I just shove a fiver at them, but this is our first takeaway since lockdown and I'm not sure of the etiquette.

You can't. I always tip normally and too bad places like Domino's and the like haven't added a tip option like on uber. We have a local delivery app and they haven't dine it either, though they charge a delivery fee, though I'm sceptical whether that goes to the driver!

I pop it on the window ledge / table (I have one at front door) / fence post etc.

I've been putting my tip in a little tied bag and asking them to catch it. They then can wipe it if they want. Every single one has accepted the offer to catch the bag and with a big smile too!

How much do you tip generally? I'm never sure!

I've gone with coins in an envelope tucked under the door mat. Just need to see if they are happy to take it now.

Ps. I haven't been tipping at the moment either
