Good morning! I too am in bed with a cup of tea! We’re having a bbq later with my parents. And later this morning My ds’s ‘girlfriend’ is coming round to sit in the garden and meet us!

How's the weather where you are for a BBQ?
It's windy here and was raining until recently....

Chocolatecake12 · 21/06/2020 08:41

It’s grey this morning but not raining as it predicted yesterday so I’m happy! They say it will brighten up later. I’m south east

Hobnobswantshernameback · 21/06/2020 08:43

Murky and drizzly here but sunshine forecast later

Morning, we're up, I had a walk down to the sea by myself first thing which was lovely

Hobnobswantshernameback · 21/06/2020 08:58

I miss walking by the sea Sad
Sadly still a 5 mile restriction here
First place I'm heading when I can is a long walk on a beach

I'm up because dogs wanted out. Its drizzling, they didn't go out 🙄 Had bbq yesterday, just DP, DSis and I, it was a lovely few hours. Must do some housework today.
@Hobnobwantshernsmeback me too! Was really stressed when NS still kept 5 mile rule as we just want to go to beach too. Do you know you can go as long as you're meeting up with people (this all back to front). We are on holiday from 29/6. I may have to visit someone so I can get to the beach. Have worked so hard last 3.months when most of our staff have been furloughed. I need to hear the sea.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 21/06/2020 09:14

I'm in Wales and can only make +5 miles journeys on "compassionate grounds " till the 6th of July Hmm

The restrictions are all so hard. I understand why, but life's just not much fun at the moment Confused

SillyYak · 21/06/2020 10:12

Hi all, guess you guys are out of bed by now but I’m still here, under a napping 3 week old. Dd is downstairs watching cartoons and waiting to make Father’s Day breakfast in bed for DH who was up until 4am with the baby.

I live by the sea but constant breastfeeding means I’ll probably not make it for a walk on the beach today. If I do I’ll think of you all.

Blew the cobwebs away on my bike
Home now watching the footie
Might potter to get the paper in a bit
Rock and roll here Grin
