Was this woman rude...?

A few days ago I was in a local shop when i bumped into a friend who at one point made a slightly cheeky joke at my expense.

This other woman, a friend or acquaintance of my friend, overheard and laughed a bit. I don't think she meant to, but obviously it amused her. Was she rude?

In lidl today, my DS made a joke about me being a bad cook and that I hardly ever cook (despite me cooking his grown ass a hot meal everyday and packing his work food) and a total stranger giggled at it. We seen her 3 more times around the store which made DS laugh more. I'm not bothered by it, we made someone laugh today and that's a good thing.

No, she was not being rude. She was probably in a difficult position where she knew you were being teased and she found it uncomfortable. Nervous laugher.

You sound like you're over thinking this and it's obviously upset you, try to not worry.
Try some calming techniques, there are apps to aid meditation. Hth

I kill plants regularly so if dh made some comment about my gardening skills and someone empathised by perhaps recognising they too had my plant growing curse and laughed, I’d join in. Why wouldn’t you?

Doesn't sound rude to me. Probably just trying to be part of the group.
She was the one on the outside, I imagine. I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I have bigger fish to fry.
