I work as an intervention support worker. We work with SEN children and our job involves picking them up in our private vehicles and usually taking them on a day out/life skills activity. We are as of last week re introducing the children to activities and have been told that we should continue to transport the children. Sometimes the ratio of staff to child is 2 to 1 so potentially there will be 3 people in one car. I do not feel comfortable but as we are self employed we've basically been told that if we're not willing to work then maybe we should consider taking time out. I just wonder if I am over reacting. Would you feel comfortable being in this situation?
