Can anyone suggest games our DS can play with a friend at 2m distance in the garden? I can think of Battleships and Guess Who so far. Would pictionary work too maybe?

the heads up app for phones would work well. Although your ds's friend would also need access to a phone that has the app.

Anything they can play with a dice. Works better if each child has a game and they play both one after the other.

So, DS and his cousin played Snakes and Ladders. Both rolled their own dice. DS moved all of the pieces. Then they played Frustration with his cousin moving all the pieces.

The other thing they've done is play Connect4 because they both have it. So they copy the other player's moves as well as playing their own. They've been debating what DS would have to take from his Monopoly set into his cousin's garden for a successful game.

Dobble can work if you split the pack beforehand.

Top trumps would work i imagine.

Games that are just talking, like 20 questions or would you rather.
