Web Design Business - Hosting / Reseller Hosting

I’ve used lockdown to teach myself web design (I’ve tinkered in the past so didn’t start from scratch). My career is in graphic design so the designing part comes easily but I’m a bit less confident with the tech stuff.

I’ve found a niche in the market in our area and think it would work well - don’t want to give too much away but it involves selling everything a small business needs to get online. Nice looking Website, domain name, email, maintenance and hosting.

Im not keen to invest in a dedicated server while the business is young (might invest in the future) so I’m looking for a good hosting package with a reseller option. I use HostGator for my personal stuff and they do offer a reseller pack but they are US based and I would prefer to support a UK company.

Any recommendations? What companies do all you web designers out there use?

Used to use tsohost but they were bought out a while back and are awful now.

Moved all my clients across to site ground earlier this year and they are much better - they have UK servers and some nice extra features that have been useful.

Good luck with new business!

Thank you for that! I’ll check out Siteground :)

I'm currently having amazing experiences with Kualo and Stablepoint, both do reseller I believe.

Please don't touch tsohost with a bargepole, I've had to move all twelve sites of mine across from them after nearly ten years because they're awful.
