Not a paper/journalist/whatever.

Just a mum wondering what to do for the last 4 weeks... trying to guage what the general feeling is.

Have you sent your yr6 back or not? Are you going to? Or do you think its best just to leave it and send them back in september to their new schools?

I really dont know what to do for the best.

Yes dt went back 2 weeks ago.
One was very anxious the other couldn't wait to get back.
The first afternoon I collected them they both bounced out of school different children so smiley and didn't shut up about their day!
Sending them back has been without a doubt the right decision for both of them.

Mine went back last week for the two day’s she was offered and will continue doing that til the end of term. I think having a sense of closure before moving on to secondary school will be good for her.

Dts school have only taken reception and yr1 plus critical worker dcs so had an abrupt finish. Senior school are saying to be ready for learning in September but maybe virtual. Thankfully we have at least looked round the school so they’re a bit familiar with it.

Yes absolutely. Her school is small so they can only offer two days a week but the change in her has been phenomenal. She loves being back at school with her friends. Luckily her class was divided into three alphabetically and that meant she is with most of her friends.
