Human rights campaigner Malala Yousafzai has expressed her "joy and gratitude" after finishing her final exams at Oxford University.

The 22-year-old, who survived a shot to the head by Taliban soldiers, studied politics, philosophy, and economics.

(contd)

whilst it was horrific what happened to Malala, I am proud that Birmingham - and the UK - were able to not only save a life, but become the home of choice for someone who I hope is inspiring girls all around the world.

I love the Twitter photo of her after being trashed. I presume her family did it, as she will have done her exams at home due to Covid. By the time I was at Oxford the Proctors used to hang around outside the exam halls stopping anything too elaborate. She probably got a better trashing at home to be honest Smile

Isn't that fantastic! Well done to the amazing Malala, and her equally amazing family!

I was just going to start a thread on this. What an inspirational young woman.

Educated, knowledgable, opinionated and still humble. Put that in your pipes and smoke it you evil, cowardly, misogynistic Taliban shits.
