Caravan holidays in Devon, any recommendations please?

Dawlish. Stayed there when I was 15, it was great (from a teenagers perspective) it’s close to Great Yarmouth too.

Lady's Mile in Dawlish

@Bodgedboxdye Dawlish is the other side of the country from Great Yarmouth!?

@crosser62 Ladram Bay near Sidmouth is lovely, quite a small site and loads of lovely walks nearby

Touring or static? Small and rustic or large with entertainment and bar?

Woolacombe Bay holiday parks in north Devon. Been to two of their parks, lovely place.

North Devon is less populated and more beautiful than south Devon in my opinion. The coastline is stunning.

@Bodgedboxdye it's an easy mistake to make!

We are not bothered about bars etc.
2 kids though, I noticed that many are adult only.

Bay View Farmers is small, family run, child friendly and has excellent views of Woolacombe.

Goodrington Sands, near Paignton and Torquay.

We have been to Lady's Mile Dawlish Warren and bay view farmers campsite near Woolacombe too. Lady's Mile was quite noisy on the bottom field near the pool etc but the top field where we stayed was quieter. We saw lots of rabbits at the nature reserve : ) Bay view farmers is a nice quiet site, with a dog walking field and direct access to the tarka trail and you can see the sea from a distance. Both are a little way away from the beach/ sea though
