Am I the only one not having any holidays planned?

Feeling down and sad that everyone, especially on my social media, seems to be booking multiple holidays for later this year and next year, including several exotic ones.

DH and I were unemployed before Covid so cannot afford a foreign holiday at the moment, but I feel like we am the only ones with no holiday planned Sad

I would love a holiday to look forward to Sad

I'm thinking of treating myself to a few nights in the spare room Wine

No holidays booked but we are fortunate to have a static caravan about an hour away from home so that's where I will be . Just hope we will be allowed to go there soon!

no holidays.. pop up tent in the garden with a pool.. people could hire out their gardens if they are short of cash to let people camp in them Grin

No holidays here, despite working throughout this shit show and desperately needing one! It’s foolish to book now when we have no idea what’s going to happen even a month from now. And what would you do when you got there?! You can hardly have a holiday experience.

None here. We went to the US for Christmas so that used up my holiday budget for the year (and last year too). My kids were supposed to go away : son to Europe with his girlfriend and daughter to Prague with school, both cancelled due to the pandemic. May go to Spain next summer but not booking anything.

No plans here. If it’s safe I may visit a friend for the day in late summer, which would involve a couple of hours on a train. Other than that, we’re going no further than Aldi.

We had a holiday booked to Croatia for the Easter but that got cancelled. We haven’t and aren’t going to book anything for this year despite desperately wanting to. As a PP said, you can’t get insurance so we could end up with no money back and no holiday. I’m also due DC2 in September so a UK holiday is all we could do soon.

We were hoping to book Disneyland next year but we’ll have to see.
