Furlough quick question

Can anyone help? We have 5 employees (everyone apart from me and the boss) that have been on furlough since March. We have won a small contract that would mean them coming in next week just for the week. Can I then re-furlough them ? I know the flexible working arrangement starts 1 July but I can only ascertain from the gov website that at the moment they just be furloughed for a minimum of 3 weeks (which they obviously have). Have tried to ask the live chat on the website but I think it's a computer generated thing as it said the question was too complicated and to ask again! Thank you!

Hi - not a HR professional - but I have staff on furlough in the 2 companies I manage (contract finance manager)

You can un furlough, then refurlough yes. But the re-furlough must then be for a min 3 weeks.

So you could un-furlough the staff for this week, then refurlough until mid July. as long as you have it all documented in letters with them.
I think there was an idea that some employers would rotate their employees on/off.
