Sorry for the dull thread. I am trying to update my old oak kitchen by painting the cabinets, replacing the cooker hood etc but i don't know what to do about lighting. Budget is tight and i would like to stick with one light in the centre if possible, i like pendants but most seem to hang down too far, the light is not directly over the table. I have spotlights on a track at the moment but they are the wrong colour and i would love a change. I would be delighted if anyone would share ideas or even better photos of what you went for. Thanks!
