Sending a link to a newspaper article by email without ads?

I want to send a relative a link to an interesting newspaper article by email.

When I test the link in the email I've drafted it goes to the page as I would see it, surrounded by ads personalised to me (gggrrr fucking Google) but I don't want this person to see these ads because it will give away what I'm planning to buy them for their birthday!

The newspaper won't let me read with an AdBlocker on.

Is there any way round this?

Can you send someone else the link and ask whether they see the same ads?

Ah, good idea! Thanks will try.

They won’t see the same ads - they’re pulled in using cookies within your own browser. You’re fine.

Can you screen shoot it, edit out any ads then send.
