Hospital results

Does anyone know how long roughly its taking to get results from a consultant at a hospital. I had a cardiac echo and a 24 hr monitor on 26th and 27th may and i haven't heard anything yet.
Originally my appt was 2nd april then a return to consultant on 14th april. But was rescheduled due to covid. So i am just wondering weather i should contact the hospital to see about results or leave it a while longer, it was 3 wks yesterday.

Definitely contact them. I hope everything is ok. 💐

I was told eight weeks (for the halter) when my DD had her first but was told the echo results straight away and the halter results much earlier following her stress test. My DD was diagnosed with CHD aged 13 so now has them every 6-12 months with a stress test.

Maybe i will contact them then. I was referred from gp as having funny episodes where i go sweaty, clammy, nauseous heavy chest and like i am about to pass out, also have flutters/palpitations. All bloods ok and ecg at docs were ok.
Could be possible stress or anxiety or not enough rest as work shifts as a hca icluding nights.
I was lucky to have appt rescheduled so quick i was expecting end of summer at least.

Call your consultant's secretary. They are always a great source of information.

Just had online letter from hospital to say appointment is sat 27th june, no i am panicking. It says you can bring one person along on the letter as its to get results from consultant or member of his team.
When i confirmed i would be attending the receptionist was bit stroppy and said no one can come, i told her it says on the letter so she had a huff and puff.
Anybody had results from consultants recently and know the drill.
