Getting Pregnant After A C-Section

My LO was breech, this was found out when I was 9cm and so was an emergency section. Other than this my pregnancy was totally normal.

My husband and I are now thinking about child #2 but we're both concerned about my health and well-being after the section. We were advised to wait for 2 years but this seems a long time, we're not getting any younger and don't want an age gap that big.

Can anyone give me any help/advice about how long you waited before getting pregnant after a section and how your pregnancy was?

Waited 1.5 years until we started TTC again and ds turned 2 the cycle I fell pregnant.
Pregnancy was very straight forward and I decided to have an elcs this time at 39 weeks.

My dd was breech and found at 6cm dilated (although I went from 3 to 6 in less then an hour) and had an emergency c section. I wasn't told to wait 2 years until after I was pregnant with my ds and so there is 19 months between them.

My ds was an elective at 39+5, but I had been in hospital for a week as he wasn't engaging and was transverse (when he was engaged it was breech). I was pretty much told have the csection or you're staying in until labour where you will probably end up with an emergency.

I have been told to wait a while now, and if I go for a third I will definitely be elective c section and I will be monitored a lot more at the end as it looks like my womb shape isn't 'normal'.

Waited just under a year and had a smooth pregnancy and lovely elcs. Then another 3 years and had another problem free pregnancy and elcs. Easy recovery each time and no complications.

I had a C-section with my first and my second was born naturally 18 months later although Ds2 was 6 weeks premature. No-one told us/ warned us to wait two years and we conceived ds2 more quickly than expected ( it took us ages to conceive ds1). In hindsight I wish there was a bigger gap, not sure whether the short gap was anything to do with ds2 being prem.
