Dried on slime - ARRGHHH!

Please help!

Has anyone got any tried and tested methods for removing slime?

Child managed to get a splotch on his brand new Everton top, hid it, and now I’ve found it. Plenty of advice online but I’d rather have some actual tried and tested methods if possible. Also, there’s not enough to freeze and peel it off which seems to be the advice for dried on stuff.

Have attached a pic if that helps.

rub an ice cube over the slime, and then pour white vinegar over it, and leave for around 3-5 mins. use a toothbrush to scrub the vinegar into the slime. then rise with warm water, rub dish soap over where you put the vinegar, and put into the washing machine

Was it homemade or bought slime? Most homemade just washes out.

I think it’s a kit that we used.

It’s probably based on pva glue and will just wash out then.

Oh god really?! I haven’t done that yet for fear of it just getting ingrained!

Thinking about it, it was definitely a kit with a picture of a cow on it, it had glitter so I can tell.

Thanks I will stick it in a wash now.
