Sick of the bleeding!!!!

I had the implant put in my arm back in January. In early March, i started bleeding, and it hasn't stopped since, not even for one day. Im absolutely fed up!!! Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any advice? I would get it removed and try something else instead but I've already tried most other forms of contraception and didn't like it or it didn't agree with me. Argh I'm so fed up!

I had the same experience. I begged and begged to have the implant removed but the GP refused as it is expensive in the first place. I ended up being prescribed the pill which stopped the bleeding but I did not like being doubled up on hormones. I had it taken out as soon as I was allowed but it wasn't a fun time. Sorry you are also suffering.

I had constant bleeding, not with implant however, but with the depo injection. The doctor gave me a ten day course of a tablet designed to stop bleeding, tannic acid or something like that. It did stop the bleeding but as soon as the course was finished, it started up again. Still, could be worth a shot?

@lockdowndreamer it's very heavy, and I feel like crap. Totally agree, what's the point in contraception that makes you continuously bleed as you can't even have sex! Like I say if it was light I probably wouldn't mind. I have a telephone appointment at 5pm today so will see what they suggest

Thanks for asking @lockdowndreamer, He's prescribed me the pill for a month, if that doesn't work I'm just going to get it removed
