Implantation bleeding

Hi guys..
I found out yesterday I am pregnant 3 weeks roughly. Today I woke up in blood brown and pink. Throughout the day I have had mild cramping & more Red blood and teeny tiny clots. I was on the phone to 111 3 times to be seen by someone but they said to wait for a call from my GP. She finally rang but I have to wait til tomorrow to get a scan to see if baby is actually there. I’m worried I have miscarried.

What’s everyone’s experience with implantation bleeding? Has it been heavy? Have you had clots?
I’m expecting the worst tomorrow.

Thank you

I experienced this around the same time you have and then again a few weeks later. Everything was absolutely fine. I'm not sure why it happened but try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!).

Hope everything turns out okay Smile

Thank you for being so kind and reassuring. I have a lot of doubt at the moment as lots of people have told me it's a miscarriage. I really hope it isn't I've tried so hard to make this baby happen x

I really feel for you OP. It's definitely a scary time waiting for the scan to get the OK.

My MIL and SIL kept telling me they thought I had, had a miscarriage too. It's easy to listen to people telling you the worst case scenario as you don't want to get your hopes up but I would try to ignore any negativity - it's the last thing you need right now.

What time is your scan tomorrow? The best advice I can give is try not to think too deeply into it (again - easier said than done!) as I found I got myself really worked up.

Also to answer your questions - the first time it happened I was spotting brown blood for a few days with cramps and the second time it happened I had been having horrendous cramps all morning and bled very heavily and I was sure I had lost the baby but luckily I hadn't. So like I say try not to think into it too much until you know for sure x

I have the scan early in the morning around 10am. Did you have teeny tiny clots too? I've had tiny stringy blood clots very small though. It's very nerve racking if I'm honest. I was so shocked when I saw a positive because it had been something I tried for for ages! Judt a shame that this has happened.

Thank you for reassuring though it's helped a lot.

I can't really remember if I'm honest sorry, OP but I know that blood clots don't always mean miscarriage.

You're welcome and again I hope everything turns out okay! Good luck for tomorrow and congratulations by the way Smile

I'm surprised you know you're pregnant at 3 weeks.

I had bleeding in 3 pregnancies at 6 weeks (1 miscarriage and 2 successful pregnancies), and then again at 10 weeks with the 2 successful ones.

Hope everything turned out okay at the scan OP Smile
