A friend started talking to me about a Thermomix they wanted, now they started inviting people to demonstrations at another friends house. A quick google gives a mixed response to is this a MLM

I bought one years ago and love it.

I wouldn’t become a sales person for them, but if you do want one/your friend wants to buy one, I would say it’s fine. There was no pressure to buy and it’s not like they had anything much else to sell me once I bought it!

It’s a bit complicated and can do a lot of things so I found the demonstration v useful if not necessary.

A good few years on and I still use it pretty much every day.

it's a bit of a weird one.
they do demonstrations and vaguely pressurised direct selling but it's a product that actually works. many chefs use it in professional kitchens.

Thanks ladies. This friend has previously lost a lot of money in another MLM and was slightly concerned she would be being drawn into another one , but from what I can work out it’s not the same as Arbonne etc where you pay out loads in samples, meet ups etc x
