Buy a screen protector?

DC (3) has cracked their tablet screen but it's a fine crack so it can't cut her fingers unless it gets worse and she can still see it fine. Still works fine. Would you get a screen protector or buy a new one? I'm not letting her use it until I do either or by the way but money is tight right now. What would you do?

Absolutely replace screen or whole tablet, I wouldn't let a three year old play with something with broken glass. It only takes a teeny bit to fall out and she could hurt herself
