Mental health struggling with redundancy threat and pregnancy - any advice?

My company have just started the redundancy process. Around 1,000 people will go I expect, so will need the 45 day consultation period. I’m 6 months pregnant so there’s no way I’ll get another job if I am made redundant.

My mental health is suffering. I can’t stop crying. I can’t deal with everyday knocks that I used to be able to cope with easily. I’m still working, in a relatively stressful job, and can’t deal with it with the background worry of redundancy.

I can’t go through the next 6 weeks like this. Does anyone have any advice? I would normally exercise but ballsed up my pelvic floor by running too much in my last pregnancy and dont want to do the same again.

We are lucky that my husbands job is safe and pays well, and that I have reached the cut off so that I will at least get statutory mat pay. We could survive with only his income. It’s more the knowing that we can’t last forever, so I’ll need to spend mat leave worrying about getting another job during a recession.

Feel like I’m falling apart.
