I’ve just read a similar thread and finding this book has always bugged me so I thought I’d try and see if anyone can help.
I read it when I was a child many, many times! I’m 41 now so it would have been the early to mid 80s. All I can really remember is that it was about a robber who were caught by the cuckoo from a cuckoo clock. It was a picture book and I remember really vividly the inside of the cuckoo’s clock because it was really cosy. The robber was a stereotypical robber with a striped top, mask and swag bag.
Not much to go on! Anyone?
