Has anybody tried these laundry pods? What are your experiences? I am considering them for the ease of delivery and recyclable packaging, but not sure how good they are compared to the stuff you can get in the supermarket. I see they do a free trial but don't want subpar laundry stuff even if it is free to try :)

I find them as good as anything! Been using them maybe a year now? They smell good and wash things fine.

Ginger153 · 15/06/2020 23:07

I use their dishwasher tabs. Very good and they appear in the post as if by magic. Happy with them.

Thinkpinkstink · 15/06/2020 23:09

Ice been using the non bio washing tabs for about 8 months. I love them. I just doubled our order so I didn't have to fallback to powder when I ran out. One tab is enough for most loads - I hardly use fabric softener anymore, and don't really notice!

*I've... Obvs

Definitely worth a trial. My sister uses them and gave me a couple and I liked them as much as Fairy/Persil. Pleasant scent and seemed to clean laundry as well as anything else. Haven’t swapped because I order detergent in huge quantities and also because I don’t like the name. .

greensnail · 15/06/2020 23:11

I've been using them for ages, they're great, work really well and never have to remember to buy them.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 15/06/2020 23:13

I’ve been using them for a couple of months now. I kept running out of dishwasher tablets so I was going to do an Amazon repeat subscription, but I’m giving them way too much money at the moment, so I thought I’d try Smol!

They’re really good, they’re quite small so I automatically thought they wouldn’t do as good a job, but I was wrong. They’re brilliant.

The laundry ones (I have the blue ones) smell lovely and I only use one per wash.

The dishwasher tabs work great too - clean just as well as the big brands, even with crusty pasta bake dishes etc.

I was running low of tablets last week so logged into the account and moved the delivery date for the next lot and they were here in a couple of days.

Definitely give them a go.

maddy68 · 15/06/2020 23:23

Yes I have the washing pods and the dishwasher tablets. Really good tbh

UnitedRoad · 15/06/2020 23:37

We tried them and I loved the idea of them, but I have eczema, and these exacerbated it, particularly around my waist band and where my bra touches.

Haven’t tried the dishwasher ones but I will after seeing recommendations here

Firenight · 15/06/2020 23:44

I've been really happy with the dishwasher tablets but the laundry ones (non bio) have set me off with eczema. Love the convenience but would be wary if you have sensitive skin. They stopped them fast when I emailed them though so good customer service.

PickAChew · 15/06/2020 23:50

They don't work out cheaper than my big boxes of daz and I do have sensitive skin, so shan't bother.

Don't people's washing machines get mouldy, using them?

Demelzatree3 · 15/06/2020 23:51

Amazing, thank you - I wondered if it was too good to be true really, I will definitely be giving them a go. Nobody in the house has eczma or any skin conditions so hopefully that won't be an issue Smile

I have to buck the trend and say I don’t rate them. Tried them both for about a year, found the dishwasher tablets were useless - I ended up having to chuck an extra couple of tablets in to get the dishes clean - seemed very wasteful.
Washing capsules are ok, my whites weren’t dazzling, but mostly I didn’t like the smell - I missed the stronger scents that give that “just washed” feeling when you put your clothes on.
I lived the idea of it, just felt it didn’t quite meet requirements

Legoandloldolls · 16/06/2020 00:00

I have the non bio ones and I really rate them. My dd has terrible exzma and I'm not if its exuberanting her condition. I doesn't set mine off but I'm washing her clothes in fairy again.

They smell lively and dont take up much room. I only two in the whites wash. One tab in a 10kg machine is fine even with four filthy kids

copperoliver · 16/06/2020 00:16

I love them, been using them a long time, lovely smell.
Nice to support smaller companies and it's another thing less to worry about just comes in the post. X

Mollymalone123 · 16/06/2020 00:16

Really great product- I have the washtabs and dishwasher tabs.I haven’t needed to use fabric conditioner either

BarbieandKenBruce · 16/06/2020 00:24

I used the washing tabs and hated the smell and I'm not prone to eczema/asthma at all but I got such itchy eyes and skin using them. Seem to really work for others though so hope you like them!

mumoftwodc · 16/06/2020 00:33

We've been using them for about 9 months. Primarily switched as I was buying Ariel liquid before and wasn't happy with the plastic bottles. We're really happy with the washing pods and no longer use fabric conditioner. The washing smells lovely and fresh and items have always come out clean including white polo school shirts. I wouldn't change back now. I did the trial pack to start so might be worth giving it a go.

40somethingJBJ · 16/06/2020 02:10

I use both the washing pods and the dishwasher tablets and I find them brilliant. So easy getting them popped through the letterbox and no complaints at all about the performance.

strugglingwithdeciding · 16/06/2020 02:24

Been using about 3 months I use the bio ones and love the smell also use the dishwasher tablets and they are great to
Work out reasonably priced and love they arrive in post and I don't have to do dishes by hand as I forgot to pick up dishwasher tablets or pay over top for laundry powder from round the corner
Def worth trying there £1 trial to see what you think
Much better environmentally as well

Dhalandchips · 16/06/2020 02:28

I'm another in favour. Give them a go 😁

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 16/06/2020 07:39

Love the laundry tabs, they do a great job and smell awesome.

Hated the dishwasher tabs though! They didn’t work at all and glasses became noticeably cloudier in the time we used them

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 16/06/2020 08:21

I like them. I signed up when the supermarkets were being stripped bare and it is nice not to lug about a big thing of washing powder in with my shopping.

They smell pleasant but not too strong and they clean my clothes. I have had an occasion where the little pod thing didn’t dissolve properly and it gunked up the seal on the machine but that can happen with any pod I suppose.

Gilead · 16/06/2020 08:28

I use the non bio ones and find them great.

Pleasenodont · 16/06/2020 08:30

I wasn’t personally keen, the scent just wasn’t strong enough and the dishwasher tablets didn’t work.
