Bit insensitive seeing as staff are no doubt being made redundant.

Don't worry about people losing their jobs, just can I get a bargain.

I’ve already lost my job. I know what redundancy is like, it’s happened 3 times to me so of course I sympathise with LA staff, and friends at Thomas Cook, and Virgin Airlines and BA . It’s just a sad part of life. Unfortunately .

Laura Ashley like several other high street businesses have been in trouble for a long time.

People are losing their job everyday
It’s not just in COVID-19 this as been happening for years yet their forgotten because it wasn’t because off a pandemic

It’s only like when Next or John Lewis are selling things off everyone wants a bargain
Just like a holiday or a Car
No disrespect to anyone that works in the company

Also LA closed it’s store in my city years ago
Before all this.
The charge too much that’s why they have always got xxx% amount off items

TK Maxx often sell discounted stock from companies that have folded. And so do auction houses. Repossessed homes also get sold on. Stolen and lost items also get sold at auction if unclaimed. It’s life. Unfortunately!

All stores are reopening to sell off their stock then closing down. There was a plan before lockdown to keep some stores but I don't think that's happening now.

Is that it for LA then??

Their Facebook page says some of their shops opened today and to check the website for opening dates for the other stores.
