If an OP doesn't reply in x time,the thread gets pulled?

Completely 'out there', but, on some boards, wouldn't that be a good idea? Maybe shorter/longer for some than others?

Although I 'smile kindly' if people are posting reply 665 on an incendiary OP, repeating 555 of previous responses if the OP hasn't been back since their OP.

But, might that stop some of the trolling if someone knew their post wouldn't run for page after page unless they engaged with it?

I think this is a good idea actually. I must admit I get a bit irked at threads that loads of people have responded to,asked relevant questions and given advice,yet the OP seems to have vanished!
