Boring duvet tot question!

Have a 13.5 tog - do I buy a 10.5 or a 4.5? For summer.

I have many year duvet buying experience this I giving me sleepless nights! Would like to get a down/feather one. We already have a 4.5 feather and that is a dream all year round to be honest but I don't know!

Will 10.5 be cool enough most of the year - I don't want four duvets.

FWIW there is me and DH. Main king bed, double spare bed ( that I use regularly) that I am looking for a king size for as the mattress is so thick that it looks rubbish with a double on its currently have the 13.5 winter king on it ( i am roasting alive) We also have a single and another double. We have three single duvets, three double a missing double and and two king. The duvets are making seriously anxious.

4.5 definitely. Personally I like the 4.5 all year round (hot sweats!) but in winter DH and I have one of those duvets which is half 4.5 (my side) and half 9 (his side). When we go on holiday in UK, I always take our 4.5 duvets with us because so many hotels or cottages seem to have 10.5 and we all find them unbearable in summer.

I like a 4.5 tog with a blanket if it gets colder.

DH bought an expensive thick one so I have to sweat through the winter now

I'm going for get a posh feather down one now I know I won't freeze! Have a nice blanket so might go for it all year too

We have a 4.5 for winter. And a 1 tog for summer.
Blanket on my side in depths of winter or a chillier summer night.

My sil has 10 togs and even in her freezing house they are far too hot!

4.5 all year round here. Oh hates being too hot at night, I've got used to it, and in the winter have a hot water bottle if I'm chilly
