Could it be pitted keratolysis? I get this on my feet but I think it's possible to get it on your hands too.

BellaVida · 14/06/2020 11:48

Looks like a very mild dyshidrotic eczema to me. I get it on my hands occasionally in summer.

They look like planter/palmer pits. My son has them as part of a rare genetic condition called Gorlin's syndrome

This is what pitted keratolysis looks like on my feet after a shower @Lardlizard

Gammeldragz · 14/06/2020 13:43

I had to Google pitted keratolysis
dermnetnz.org/topics/pitted-keratolysis/
Thanks PPs for mentioning it. I'm a nurse and always get asked to identify wierd skin things (I'm not a dermatologist!) so I like to learn new ones.

Gammeldragz · 14/06/2020 13:44

PPs who have/had this, how have you treated it? Did you have it diagnosed by a Dr?

SoloMummy · 14/06/2020 15:33

Not as green, oh that looks so similar, with you does it show up mainly after. You’ve been in water ?

Yes, much more noticeable after being in water.

Lardlizard · 15/06/2020 08:34

What does yours get treated with? I suppose I’d better make da an appointment with the gp and take the photos, or maybe should I try the pharmacy first

notasgreenasiamcabbagelooking · 15/06/2020 12:21

I treat it with fusidic acid but I'm in Spain, where it's much easier to get stuff over the counter than in the UK.

Gammeldragz · 16/06/2020 11:10

You won't get fusicid acid OTT, so will need a GP appointment. If yours have EConsult you can submit it online with a photo, if not should still be able to send a photo or do a video call.
