Car seat help please

Hi all, I would be very grateful if you could give me your advice on the following. car seat shopping is given me a headache! My son is 10months and weighs 22lb. I have a 3 door ford fiesta (which i am unable to change) my son current in cybex aton 5 i think it is. Problem is he getting to heavy to carry in his seat and to long.
The idea was to try the car seat in car before buying it but due to the current situation think we will buy the car seat online.
Any help would be grateful.

I got good advice via email from the incarsafetycentre - and then ordered from them online.

He's not too heavy for it until he is 29lbs. He's only too big for it when his head comes over the back rest. At that age you're looking for another rear facing seat I imagine?

His head at the top of the head rest now. Yes definitely rear facing.
