I need to do some shopping and I’ve got a delivery booked with my neighbour. I haven’t used them for years. How is their own brand for cereals etc?

Avoid the sausage rolls. Eating them makes you feel sad for the pig.

Tesco own brand is the only supermarket brand I avoid. Bland and over priced.

Oh this is good to know so I won’t go mad just get the hard to carry things.

fine!

The cereals are great, we think their weetabix is better than the real thing. Nappies are also better than Pampers. We like the Tesco finest meat too. On the other hand the own brand cheese is horrible and rubbery.

LunaLoveFood · 13/06/2020 15:13

There cereal is really good except for their very basic Weetabix get the next level up.

I buy almost everything Tesco own brand and it's all fine. Agree about the weetabix though, the value stuff was like cardboard.

The tomato soup is really good.
