Any jigsaw collectors or Thunderbird fans out there? How much do you think this would be worth?

This was a brand new 1000 piece sealed jigsaw that was loaned to us. Being crap, we managed to lose a piece so it's now worthless. You can't buy them any more, and I really don't want to pay the lender a token £20 if it turns out they were unwittingly sitting on a goldmine. I had a look and there was a similar one on eBay, used, for £30, so... any ideas?

Not sure about the value, but would it be worth trying to replace the missing piece from the Jigsaw Doctor?

I would of thought that had it been worth anything it wouldn't of been loaned out for being used.

There are so many re-issues of all things Thunderbird/Gerry Anderson that it's hard to tell (just spent ages trying to get something for Fathers Day, so know the pain of searching

One was for sale on Gumtree 9 months ago for £7, so wouldn't think it worth a lot of money, just the loss of a piece

Maybe. Certainly I don't think they lent it out knowing it was valuable, but I'm just worried it might have been some ultra limited edition collector's item and they just didn't realise.

That said, I've googled 'rare valuable jigsaws' and there appears to be no such thing. And I AM very good at overthinking things (or am I)...
