Just that, I am looking to send a really lovely bunch of flowers to a very lovely DD, my budget is around £60.00. Happy to use a national service or one based in Surrey.

Bloom and wild 20% of first order Flowers

Bunches are really good. Next day delivery and flowers were so lovely. Can pick between arriving flatpacked or in a bouquet.

I’ve had good experiences with Seranata lately.
Next are awful.

MrsSchadenfreude · 15/06/2020 06:26

I’ve used Serenata flowers before and they have been consistently good.

We have had a few bad bunches from Freddie's flowers recently. They have been left in a porch or on the floor with no knock at the door and my shielding MIL had no idea how long they had been left there. We are giving them a break for the summer to see if things improve later.

I used to be a florist and am sceptical of the arrange them yourself flowers sent by post with no water. A lot of the varieties I've seen in photos are not what I'd consider to be worth the prices charged.

AlwaysCheddar · 15/06/2020 12:47

M&S!!!

Great British Florist is a small independent in Herefordshire - they use British growers to minimise air miles. My SIL sent me a dried flower wreath for Christmas, and now I use them for bouquets.

Crinkle77 · 15/06/2020 16:22

I've not been impressed with Bloom and Wild. First lot of flowers were dying when they arrived and didn't revive as promised. They sent a second lot free of charge which were much nicer but even then I wouldn't say the roses were the best quality. I also think they're expensive for the size of the bunch and they don't look anything like what they do in the photos on the website.

nearlynermal · 15/06/2020 16:28

The Real Flower Company are expensive, and the roses don't last very long, but they are v good for fragrance and wow factor. When I'm lucky enough to get some I spend half the day with my nose buried in them.

BigusBumus · 15/06/2020 16:34

Freddies Flowers. Quite pricey but amazing.

I get a delivery from them every 2 weeks, but also have sent as birthday presents. The only problem is depending where you live they have 1 delivery day per week in your area.

Cookies2523 · 15/06/2020 16:37

I would highly recommend Seranata.

Reluctantbettlynch · 15/06/2020 19:08

Serenata 💯

JustAPassingFashion · 15/06/2020 19:16

Bloom and wild do the hand tied bouquets which are delivered in a vase rather than as a letterbox type. They do big luxe ones too which are amazing.

I've got a code for £10 off if you don't already have one, feel free to use it if you decide to go for it Daffodil (in the interest of full disclosure I get a credit too if you do)

My MiL's birthday flowers I bought her from eflorist arrived today. She sent me a pic and they are lovely.

RubbishQueen · 17/06/2020 19:44

I use bunches. Only ever had a bad bunch when they got delayed in transit during a heat wave. They replaced them without a problem. 12% off with the code "FD12"

BrandyandBabycham · 17/06/2020 19:46

I sometimes use companies on The Isles of Scilly ( has to be daffodil/narcissi season), although having said that some of them will offer pinks etc too. I sent narcissi to my Aunt & she was absolutely thrilled. Apparently they were beautiful & lasted ages
