Dunno why I’m sharing this tbh but tonight, when I was washing up a couple old songs came on the radio. Songs from my mid teen years. I was overcome by a huge wave of nostalgia and sadness. It made me cry! Kept thinking of how simple life was then, of the people I’ve lost along the way and the fact that I’m now old. And that time feels like yesterday.
Nostalgia is bittersweet. For a few minutes I was transported back to when my sister was alive, to when all I had to worry about was whether Craig fancied me and what I was having for tea.
I’m silly and soppy I know. Anyone else get like this?
