Butter stain

Redwren · 12/06/2020 15:24

So yesterday I splattered a new (cotton) jumper with butter. I put it in the washing machine quickly (included some vanish) but it's still marked. Is there anything I can do to save it?

Looking online it says to use things like baking powder or bicarb but surely because it's been through the machine that wont work?

Please help, it wasnt expensive but I loved it

Try rubbing washing up liquid into the stain before rewashing it

I always use washing up liquid for grease stained too. Rub it in to the mark and then stick it in the machine as normal.
