YouTube (or online) workout with hand weights

I'd like to incorporate strength training with a workout and we have a good set of hand weights here but I've no idea where to start.

Can anyone recommend a good beginners workout I could follow please?

It's easy to make your own, then you can tailor it to suit you and your goals.

Google 'dumbell exercises' and you'll see lots of different things to do. Start by maybe choosing 3 and doing 3 sets of each, maybe 10 reps in each set. You can then up your reps and maybe add more exercises as you progress.

I don't enjoy following YouTube workouts as I find the background music a bit rubbish and that they talk too much, but maybe that's just me.

I think I'm the opposite Pinkyyy! I like to follow the video so I know how to do the exercises and it also keeps me motivated to keep going to the end (think I'd be more likely to give up if I was just doing it on my own time!!)

Fitnessblender are very good and have a range of workouts, including for beginners. You can select whether or not you have weights.

I really like the body fit by Amy workouts posted above. She has loads and she's not annoying

I always bang in about HasFit on these threads but I love their workouts on YouTube. There are loads - cardio, weights, a mixture of both, abs... 👍

and she's not annoying 😂

We're doing workouts on YouTube with an American organisation called Hasfit, they have loads so I'm sure you can find something to suit you (we are old-ish so go for easy ones).
