Are all USB plugs created equal??

Dd1 needs a new USB plug after bending the top pin on hers somehow.

If I buy just a randomly selected USB plug from Amazon, it'll work the same as any other randomly selected USB plug, won't it?

I think it depends on if you mean the plug or the actual wire....we were looking at this yesterday as the wire from our fire stick is not working but also we were looking at getting a multiple usb plug to charge several fire tablets at once.

The wire is the same regardless I think, but the plugs vary in terms of how fast they charge things eg the higher the wattage, the faster they charge things.

We use my kindle usb for phones and kindle and the Samsung usb for iPhone. It's just the cable that's important.

@makingmiracles the plug - she's just had a new wire. That was charging her phone faster than the old one, until she broke the plug
