Don't know where to turn.

I've got a lot of things in my head at the minute and I don't know who I can talk to about it.

I used to have one person I could talk to about anything but when things I'd said, only to this person in confidence, were said back to me word for word by another person I decided then I could no longer trust them.

I've just got so much happening in my head and nowhere to release it. Does anyone know of any organisations I could phone just for a chat? Or offer any other advice?

SANEline offer an emotional support listening service via the phone. It's a callback service, so you leave a message on 07984 967 708 with your first name and contact number, and someone will phone you back ASAP to chat through things with you. All the best OP Flowers

Or the Samaritans?

Mairyhinge · 12/06/2020 12:25

I wouldn't recommend the Samaritans in this case ( used to be one before I get shot down). They're only allowed to listen, you don't get much in the way of feedback and you certainly don't get to chat. It frustrated the hell out of me because my natural instinct is to talk back and possibly offer advice and Samaritans can't do that.

I definitely need someone who will talk back to me.
Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.
