Seasalt Dresses

Browsing clothes websites as you do and Seasalt popped up. I like a few of their dresses but have never bought any of their clothes. I’m normally a size 14 and wondered if anyone knows how the sizing is do you size up or are they true to size? Thanks in anticipation

I haven't bought any of their dresses but I have lots of their tops and trousers. I am also a 14 and I find their clothes true to size.

BillBaileysBum · 11/06/2020 21:07

I find them at least a size too big.

When I’m a 16 in other shops I’m usually a 12 in there. Not complaining Grin

Powerplant · 11/06/2020 21:13

Thanks - I think it’s probably safe to order 14 then as one of the dresses is fitted around the tum. Is the quality any good - I was in Falmouth a few years ago and popped into the shop there just for a browse and really liked the colours of the clothes

I'm a 14 and find them generally true to size. Actually find them to be cut quite narrow across the chest/back in some styles but I could just have an unusually broad back.

Minai · 11/06/2020 21:40

I find them slightly big. I am usually a 14 but a 12 in seasalt

makingmyway10 · 11/06/2020 21:43

I find them cut very small across the chest if you have a curvier bust then you need to size up. Otherwise true to size.

margotsdevil · 11/06/2020 21:58

Depends on the fabric. Jersey style dresses are quite generous but their more fitted items are true to size I find.

AristotleAteMyHamster · 11/06/2020 22:02

I’m normally a 22 but need either an 18 or 20 in Seasalt. 14/16 for leggings, bizarrely.

I find they come up very big, but that is probably a shape thing looking at what others have said.

Bearlyclearly · 11/06/2020 22:14

They come up true to size or slightly generous rather than too small. I love Seasalt clothes they are always top notch quality

Rookie93 · 11/06/2020 22:17

As pp said I find Seasalts jersey dresses quite generous, but find the more fitted styles are true to size and usually go up at least one size. Love the colours and the patterns a lot.

I wear a lot of Seasalt, reason being I live almost next to a Seasalt Sale Shop.

For me I find the sizing variable,I always have to try on,I have clothes sized between 10 and 18.

MuseumOfYou · 11/06/2020 22:49

I love their stuff, I find it's quite generously cut.

Powerplant · 12/06/2020 10:06

Great so size 14 should be ok as a few - ahem - pounds have been acquired over lockdown. Happy shopping everyone.
