I bought size 3 wellies for my 8yo DD earlier this year. I think she's about a 2.5 in most shoes.

Crustaceans · 10/06/2020 13:12

I have shoes that size. 10 year old DS is a 2 currently.

keepingbees · 10/06/2020 13:15

My DD wore that size age 7-8. She's tall and big footed like her dad. My DS was in that size around age 11-12 I think.

My DD9 is in a UK 5.5 so I’m guessing she was around 7 for a UK 3. Think that’s the size where she had to move into tying her laces and not Velcro fastenings.

DS6 is in a UK 2/2.5.

BuffyFairy · 10/06/2020 13:22

My 8 year old DD wears that size. She’s tall.

carrietwick · 10/06/2020 13:23

My 7 year old has just started wearing UK size 3, she’s always had large feet for her age. My 4 year old is wearing size 12.5!

Juanmorebeer · 10/06/2020 13:23

My dd age 8. Year 4 at school. Also me! Since I was age 11 until forever.

TableDesk · 10/06/2020 13:24

My DS (just turned 11 a few days ago) is size 43 Confused UK 8.5

Size 36 was when he was 6yr old

tiredanddangerous · 10/06/2020 13:25

CoffeeDay · 10/06/2020 13:31

I still wear size 36 / 3 Grin Feet haven't changed since my teens (now age 35)

BikeRunSki · 10/06/2020 13:34

DD was size 36 when she was 7; DS was 6

My family have huge feet (I’m a 43).

user1471523870 · 10/06/2020 13:38

I wear 35-36 depending on the shoes (I am 45) and I think I started doing so aged 12.

bluefoxmug · 10/06/2020 13:40

age 8 for my male dc, the female at 9

ChristmasCarcass · 10/06/2020 13:43

It’s a 4. And yes lots of adults are a size 4. If you mean boys, I would say around 10-12 yr olds.

fairplay · 10/06/2020 14:54

Ds is 8 and a size 36. Dd is now 9 and a size 5

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 10/06/2020 14:55

Dd wears that now (8.5).

I wasn't that til at least 11yo so she is going to tower over me.

Letseatgrandma · 10/06/2020 14:56

I’m 43 and wear that size!

TrickyKid · 10/06/2020 14:57

My daughter aged 11

TattiePants · 10/06/2020 15:05

DD was a 36 when she was 8.

museumum · 10/06/2020 16:54

Great. Thank you.
My feet have recently grown to a 37 due to an injury and I have some barely worn 36 shoes to put on eBay. Some styles are appropriate for boys or girls (hiking type) so just wanted to check the rough age range that might be interested.

@ChristmasCarcass it’s not a 4. A 4 is a 37.
36 is sort of 3.5 but doesn’t translate exactly.

DD is 10 and wore 36 at the start of year 5 (September 2019) when she was age 9. She's now a 37 (10 in April, I'll add).

BogRollBOGOF · 10/06/2020 16:57

Not there yet at 39 years Grin

MrsAvocet · 10/06/2020 18:08

Well I'm 53 and my feet never got as big as a 36, nor did my 22 year old DD's. I think my both my boys were probably in that size at about age 12.

TerrorWig · 10/06/2020 18:11

Age 11 here.
