Hello all, does anyone have any creative storage tips for living in a very small rented home with very limited storage space? any ideas welcome.

We cannot put a wardrobe or drawers in my bedroom as the contents gets damp and ruined, currently cant move house so that is not an option, any creative tips appreciated Grin

We're moving to a smaller flat soon and I was looking into this. There are small things you can do like buying shelves and even extendable shelves which go into cupboards or wardrobes to give you a little more storage. We've vacuum packed things that we don't need or use very often and we're going to buy a shoe hanger which goes over the door so they don't end up in a pile in a corner of a room.

A dehumidifier might help with the damp. I've lived in a few places where it's a problem. If you can't have a wardrobe but need somewhere to put your clothes I think there's plastic things that go over a clothes rack which replicate a wardrobe and could be deconstructed quite easily.

Hope this helps. Smile

I second the suggestion of a dehumidifier, it was a game changer in our house.

Shelves above doorways is my space creating tip. Also doing a massive declutter. And I use command hooks for hanging all sorts of things.
