Can you help with a staycation location

I live in Scotland. I’ve not been within 5 miles of this village since lockdown started. I’m hoping we are at phase 3 come the week off I have in July which would mean we could travel for leisure. Me and my parter live London, in contrast, also love the highlands.

So, my question to you is, where do you go, or do you live somewhere I must see? This is all dependant on the status of the virus but I’m trying to think outside of the box. Potentially head somewhere new (if anywhere even wants us/is open)

You could pop across to Northumberland Beaches are quiet, national trust places and Alnwick gardens are opening up not as touristy as the lakes x

The Peak District? Yorkshire dales? You could drive down through the dales, stay a few days there then down to the peaks. Maybe back via the lakes?

Oh those both sound lovely, I’m off to google those!
