Labyrinth

There are quite a few 'junior' versions of games like Cluedo, Monopoly, Scotland Yard etc.

Games like Ludo, Sorry etc.

My elder DD is obsessed by the 'travelling' games like the London Game, Great Britain, Discovering Europe etc

WhatWouldDominicDo · 09/06/2020 17:13

Not a card game, but dominoes.

Camel Up is great once you work it out. Same for exploding kittens (which sounds appalling, but is quite funny). Labyrinth is fun.

Frustration is great.
We had monopoly junior and cluedo. Both were great.
The magic toothfairy game was always a hit with dd (not so much with me who had to play it 3 times a day for a month)
We have exploding kittens which we love, but can be quite hard to get your head around at first.

Downfall

My kids had quite a few board games. For some reason they never had a blazing row when playing Downfall - it was therefore my favourite !

I assume it's impossible to cheat and there is no dispute over who has won.

Baboutheocelot · 09/06/2020 18:21

Rhino hero or animal upon animal.

PleasancePark · 09/06/2020 18:35

Mastermind...sort of a code to break...coloured pegs, great for logical thinking.

Northernexile · 09/06/2020 18:39

Mine love Monopoly and Cluedo Junior, Cranium Junior, Connect 4, Hungry Hippos, Buckaroo, Pictureka! and Operation. Also have a Frustration-type game involving penguins.
