OXO good grips salad spinner

I've had mine for years, and very good it is too, I have sometimes idly wondered why there are two buttons on the top, I know the black one stops the spinner, but the other one? I admit, it hasn't kept me awake at night , I assumed it was one of life's mysteries, the Sphinx, lost teaspoons, people who find Mrs Browns boys funny, astrophysics, the OXO good grips extra button...........

I just found out! If you hold down the plunger bit and slide the white button over it keeps the plunger pressed down so the spinner takes up less storage room.

Well, there's a thing, I am feeling quite proud of myself for accidentally working this out.

Just to say my Oxo good grips tin opener is the best tin opener ever. Not something I thought I'd post on the internet.

I have a good grips tin opener on my "one day" list , but my present non good grips one is working well at the moment, the day will come though, the day will come..

I love my Oxo grips gravy seperater, it's the mutts nuts !

I have the OGG peeler, it's very good. I also have the food thermometer which is superb, never overcooked a Christmas cake again.

I've got the OXO GG tin opener. Excellent device. Got some of the storage tubs as well. Two fingers up to arthritis hands!
Astrophysics I can do, but Mrs Brown's Boys is also a mystery to me, as is Gervais in funny terms. I'd also like to know where the teaspoons go, and the socks....
