Looking for decent / reasonably priced or free accounting software please for small family business partnership (2 partners).

To record income, expenditure, scan receipts, create invoices, link to bank account.

Thanks

I use Xero. It's really good! Easy to use, plenty of support and does all of that

I still use Microsoft money. Though no longer supported, it is very use friendly and I love the end of month reports on your spending. You can download the sunset version for free! I also use Jiosoft, which is inexpensive and has excellent technical support.

If you have an accountant, then ask them which they would recommend.

If you want one that links to your bank account you will need to pay for it. Sage One starts at 12+vat a mth but you can get first 3 mths free. Xero starts at £10 +vat a mth but will limit you on how many invoices you can do for that amount. I personally prefer Sage and their software support is great.

Another recommendation for Sage here. I've used them for 20 years and upgraded to Sage Cloud system a couple of years ago and it covers everything you need.

Freeagent is brilliant, nice and easy to use too. Pretty sure they have a free trial too
