My elderly aunt likes to drop off random bags of 'goodies' as she calls them and yesterday it was my turn to be the recipient. I got a shoe rack, paint scraper, various "love, live, laugh" ornaments, about 5 bags of pot pourri and various toys that are very unsuitable for teen dd. All very sweet and I graciously accepted, but one thing this lockdown has taught me is that I don't want to accumulate random crap any more. All the charity shops are obviously closed. I don't usually shop in B&M so no idea about their policies 're returning items without a receipt. The queue in my local one is massive so don't want to stand in it only to be told I have to take the crap goodies home again.
